How multi-service works with Shopify: Each service (e.g. CPG Standard, CPG Express) maps to a separate Carrier Service registered in Shopify. When a customer reaches checkout, Shopify calls POST /api/rates for each registered carrier service. The service name is included in the callback so the correct rate card is used. Merchants see both options at checkout and the customer picks the one they want.
